The DIA74124 is a 24-input multiple switch detection interface (MSDI) with integrated ADC and comparator for 12 V automotive system. The integrated 10-bit ADC is used for the analog switch monitoring and the integrated comparator is used for the digital switch monitoring. The device monitors 24 channels of switch inputs, with 10 inputs configurable to monitor switches connected to either ground or battery. The DIA74124 has the function of 6 configurable wetting current settings to support different application scenarios. The DIA74124 supports two operation modes: polling mode and continuous mode. In polling mode, the wetting current is applied sequentially from IN0 to IN23 and cycled to reduce the power consumption. In the continuous mode, the wetting current is continuously applied to each enabled input channel. The DIA74124 is available in EP-TSSOP-38 package. It is specified over ambient temperature range of -40°C to 125°C, which meets the requirements of automotive applications.
